Martial Arts refers to organized forms of combat and self defense. Various martial arts styles have developed around the word. In modern times, these diverse disciplines often serve many purposes, including sport and competition, self-defense, and exercise and fitness. Some of the most common Martial Arts include Taekwondo, Karate, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Kung Fu, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, and, more recently, MMA.
