He has been under the internship and instruction of Grandmaster Soon Kil Jang, 8th Dan Black Belt, manager and instructor of Jang Star Taekewondo School. His service and commitment to his Grandmaster and his own martial arts education has helped him flourish as a teacher and martial artist. Master Ed is certified as a 4th Dan Black Belt by Kikkiwon (www.kukkiwon.or.kr, W.T.F. Headquarters-Seoul, South Korea, www.wtf.org). He also received a 4th Dan Black Belt certified from the Korean Jidokwan Association and is a Certified Instructor at Jang Star Martial Arts Association, USA.

Before opening All Star Taekwondo, Master Edward attended Drexel University and Columbia University. As a student studying architecture, Master Ed began taking classes at Jang Star Taekwondo. His soon-to-be wife joined him, and a family tradition was born, with their three daughters achieving black belts as well. Master Ed makes All Star Taekwondo students feel like part of the family, welcoming students of all ages and from all walks of life, while encouraging them to achieve success in their study of Taekwondo.
